Creator hosting terms
Effective date: September 5, 2026
These terms apply to the MediaHost Creator Channel hosting service. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Contact mark@mediaservices.net for help.
What your hosting plan includes
One branded channel per approved creator account, up to 20 stored videos totaling 120 minutes, and on-demand HD playback up to 1080p where supported by the source video. Both the video count and total duration limits apply. Processing and rejected submissions may occupy video slots until removed. Videos exceeding the duration allowance may be removed after processing. Keep your own originals; MediaHost is not your backup service.
All published videos are included in the existing MediaHost+ viewer membership. Your channel details and approved logo may be publicly displayed. Viewers need an active MediaHost+ membership to watch. Creator hosting is a separate subscription; it provides access to your creator tools and your own video previews, not a viewer membership for all other content.
Apply first, then subscribe
You must be at least 18 and authorized to represent your channel. Applying does not require payment. MediaHost reviews applications and may approve or decline them. Approval lets you choose a hosting subscription and submit videos; it does not guarantee approval of every video. Channel name, description, and logo changes can be requested through support and are subject to review.
Price, renewal, cancellation, and refunds
Hosting is $49 per month or $499 per year in US dollars, plus applicable taxes shown at checkout. The annual price saves $89 compared with 12 monthly payments. Your selected plan renews automatically until canceled. By completing checkout, you authorize the recurring payments disclosed there. No creator revenue share or payout is included.
Use My Account, Plans, and Manage Subscriptions to access billing controls, or email support to request cancellation before your next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your confirmation identifies when paid hosting ends. When hosting is no longer active, uploads and creator previews are disabled and your channel's videos are no longer available to viewers. Suspension for rule violations can restrict access sooner. Allow a short processing period for account changes and previously issued playback permissions to expire.
You may request a full refund of your first hosting payment within seven calendar days by emailing support from your account email address with your purchase date or receipt number. A first-payment refund also cancels hosting and ends associated access. Subsequent payments are generally nonrefundable except as required by law or to correct billing errors. Contact us about service failures. Refunds go to the original payment method, with bank processing times varying.
Content rights and your responsibilities
You retain ownership of your content. You give MediaHost and its service providers permission to store, process, encode, create playback thumbnails, and deliver submitted content to operate the service; approved channel information, logos, titles, descriptions, and videos may be displayed on MediaHost. You confirm you hold the necessary rights and permissions for video, music, images, trademarks, and appearances, including consent where required. This is a hosting and distribution service, not a sale of your copyright.
Do not upload illegal material, content that infringes others' rights, sexual exploitation or abuse material, threats, harassment, fraud, or deceptive impersonation. Do not share login access, bypass limits or review controls, or upload content you are not entitled to distribute. Do not include private information without permission.
Review, removal, and availability
Every video stays private until MediaHost approves it. We may reject or unpublish content, provide a review note, or suspend a channel for rule violations or suspected misuse. Payment does not purchase automatic approval. Contact support to discuss a decision or request removal of a stored video. Removal may be permanent, and limited records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
There is no guarantee of a particular audience size, view count, income, review turnaround, or uninterrupted playback. Actual playback quality depends on the source, device, and connection. Reasonable upload pacing and processing limits protect service availability. Contact support for larger hosting needs; extra capacity is not automatically included or billed.
Report content concerns or ownership complaints to mark@mediaservices.net with the channel/video link, a description of the issue, and your contact details. We may seek additional information to investigate. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
